Installation

Install StatusPath Reports as a Jira Cloud app.

Before you install

• Confirm your site uses Jira Cloud.
• Confirm you have permission to install apps, or ask a Jira administrator to install it.
• Confirm users who need reports can access the Jira projects, filters, sprints, epics, and work items they want to analyze.

Install the app

1. Open Jira administration.
2. Install StatusPath Reports using the app installation process approved by your organization.
3. Open StatusPath Reports from Jira.
4. Run a small report first, such as one project with a recent date range.

First checks

• Open the main report page.
• Run Time in Status for a small project.
• Review Calendars and duration if business-time values matter to your team.
• Add the Dashboard Gadget to a test dashboard if dashboard reporting is needed.
• Open Issue Activity on a Jira work item if issue-level analysis is needed.

Access expectations

StatusPath Reports reads Jira data through the current Jira context. If a user cannot see a work item in Jira, the app should not be treated as a way to bypass that Jira permission boundary.
